Brussels Calling by Brussels brewery Brasserie de la Senne is an authentic Belgian Tripel brewed as an homage to the Belgian revolution of 1830. With all the power and drama of those turbulent times, this big, fruity blonde is packed with classic bready malts and vibrant white-pepper and banana yeast.
Brussels Calling is De La Senne's anniversary beer. The base is always a blonde at 6.5% alcohol, but we change the hops every year. The result is a very balanced “Belgian IPA”. The nose is intense with exotic fruits and floral notes. On the palate, these aromas linger and intensify, structured by an intense but elegant bitterness, which further reinforces its freshness. In the finish, the fruitiness blends into a long and very dry bitterness.
