AWAITING ON NEW LABEL
Araldica is Piemonte's most forward-thinking co-operative, situated in Castel Boglione, in the heart of Barbera d'Asti territory. Founded in 1954 by Livio Manera, father of the current Managing Director and winemaker Claudio Manera, Araldica has developed over the past 60+ years to become a major winemaking force in Piemonte, supplying wines across the globe.
Araldica's finest Barbaresco! A selection of their best barrels of Barbaresco are kept aside and blended by Lella Burdese to bottle under the Alasia label.
Alasia Barbaresco wine has black fruit aromas, with some savoury, spicy and gently floral characters. Complex and richly flavoured with black cherry, bramble and a hint of violet on the palate. Good structure and fine tannins lead to a long rich finish. Fantastic with roasted and grilled meats.
