We love a good Bordeaux Red at Kwoff. We sampled this at a local restaurant, and just had to source it for the shop. We have finally tracked it down, and are very happy to get the price below a tenner. Great value, great taste, great quality. Lovely wine.
This 30 year old vineyard directly neighbours the Fronsac AOC and is planted with 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc. Traditional Bordeaux winemaking techniques are used with partial aging in oak barrels to bring smoothness and elegance to this wine.
Château Buisson-Redon, Bordeaux wine has pleasant cinnamon and nutmeg aromas. The palate is medium-bodied and structured with round, warm fruit and a velvety finish. A versatile food wine - try with Charcuterie, hard farmhouse cheeses as well as pork, lamb or beef.
