Sourced from classic Loire grape varieties, Grolleau and Gamay, grown on very typical terroirs of clay and sand (silica). The wine is fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve its bright, fragrant fruit before being bottled in the March after harvest.
Pierre Chainier 'Sélection 1749', Rosé d'Anjou wine is a surprisingly good medium-dry rosé from Anjou. Pale strawberry pink in colour, this wine has delicate summer pudding aromas and a round, medium-dry palate with balancing and refreshing acidity. Don't mock it, try it! A lovely apéritif or brilliant with any kind of spicy Indian or Asian cuisines.
