A bright, ripe and fruity red from the region's premium producer.
The winery was established as a co-operative in 1959. In 2001 it joined with two other progressive, co-operative, cellars in the Campo de Borja region to become the Bodegas Borsao that we know today.
100% Macabeo grapes from vines grown on alluvial soils in the foothills of the Moncayo mountain. After chilling the must, a short period of skin contact is followed by slow fermentation at controlled temperatures.
Rame Macabeo wine has a fruity, floral nose with citrus and stone fruit aromas. Delicate peach fruit on the palate with lightly nutty, savoury characters. Fresh citrus acidity on the finish. Pair with chicken and fish or light pasta dishes.
