Winemaker Francisco Antunes oversees what must be one of the most diverse ranges in Europe, from the 3rd largest Portuguese rose brand (Casal Mendes) to some of the country's most impressive premium reds from estates in Douro, Dao, Bairrada and Alentejo.
A blend of native grapes Maria Gomes (otherwise known as Fernão Pires) and Bical which are the predominant white grapes of the region. These are cultivated in clay and limestone soils. Macerated for 12 hours, followed by alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel at 16 degrees - to preserve the delicate fruit aromas and flavours.
Alianca Reserva Branco has candied lemon peel aromas lead onto a textural palate with savoury characters, lemon citrus acidity, a hint of tropical fruit and a mineral twist. A perfect match for seafood and pasta salads
