Nieto Senetiner has grown to become one of the leading stars of Mendoza. Although the vineyards and winery were founded by Italian immigrants and date back to 1888, they were acquired by the Nieto and Senetiner families in 1969.
Hand picked grapes from vineyards in the semi arid climate of the Uco Valley, at an altitude between 1,100 and 1,400 m.a.s.l. The wine is aged in used French oak barrels for 12 months.
Nieto Don Nicanor Barrel Selection Malbec wine has an elegant nose with aromas of plums, raspberries and cherries, and notes of spices, herbs, dark chocolate and black tea. Its pleasant tannins and acidity combine on the palate, giving it a long finish.
