The traditional 'ramato' style of Pinot Grigio rosé, produced exclusively from Pinot Grigio. Careful handling in the vineyard and winery, and a short soak in the press to extract the natural dusky bronze colour of ripe Pinot Grigio grapes, gives a pale, coral pink wine.
The 2018 harvest in the Vallagarina Valley consisted of a dry, late summer until the end of September, allowing the grapes to reach a full maturation. The Vallagarina Valley’s continental climate and calcium soils help to produce this elegantly fresh and crisp Pinot Grigio, which has a good balance and structure.
Terrazze della Luna Pinot Grigio Rosato wine is a pretty, delicate, copper-coloured rosato. An attractive, lifted nose with fresh lightly floral aromas, and hints of white peach. Gently rounded palate with ripe orchard fruit and a delicate hint of redcurrants. Incisive, zesty citrus fruit on the finish with lively acidity. This is an elegant and dry rosé, great with salads, seafood and white meats.
