Quinta da Lapa Selection Red

Quinta da Lapa was founded more than 300 years ago, in a unique spot, the finest terroir amid the rolling hills to the east of the Montejunto mountain the highest ground of the Tejo region named after the great Tagus river and once known as Ribatejo, a land where wine, culture and history flow together since the times of the roman province of Lusitania.

Quinta da Lapa Selection Red wine is bright ruby colour with garnet reflections. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats with temperature control then oaked for four months. Pleasant aroma of ripe fruit with hints of wild herbs and sweet spice. Good mouth volume, juicy fruit in harmony with toasty notes. Nice, dried‐fruit finish. This wine can be laid down and will reach it’s full expression in between 4 and 6 years.
