One of the best things about Alentejo as a wine region is that it is free to blend indigenous & international grape varieties to create wines of real quality & unique character. You can’t get a grape more local than Antão Vaz in this part of Alentejo but when you combine it with the richness of Viognier you get an entry level wine that punches well above its price.
Terras d'Uva white wine is packed full of pear & lemon curd on the nose that makes your mouth water straight away. On the palate it has a smooth texture & richness combined with easy acidity that gives this white good length & liveliness. If you like well-priced wine that has an abundance of white tropical fruit & a deep mouth-feel then this is the wine for you. Pale yellow colour, intense and fruity aroma, light and fresh on the palate. Perfect with fish and shellfish.
