From a low-yield vineyard located at 1400 m.a.s.l, of alluvial soil, with native vegetation overcrop. Cool nights give a balanced maturity expressing the typicity of high-altitude Pinot Noir. Fermented with a percentage of stems in open top tanks. 50% of this wine was ages in for 12 months in French oak barrels of different uses and sizes.
Cadus Appellation Tunuyan Pinot Noir has notes of cherry and cinnamon spice on the nose. Fresh herbal notes add complexity and elegance to the wine. Well balanced acidity and a soft persistence in the mouth make this a delicious wine with a fresh finish.
This wine will pair beautifully with the Pinot noir classics - lamb, duck, grilled salmon, and aged cheeses.
