A relatively young domaine established in the Côte de Beaune but with mature vineyards in classic appellations of Beaune, Pommard, Monthélie and Meursault. The now custodians, Brigitte Berthelemot and winemaker, Marc Cugney are passionate about Pinot Noir and the multitude of expressions the Burgundian terroir offers.
Domaine Berthelemot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru La Garenne wine is brimming with intesity and minerality. The wine is delicate with gentle floral notes on the nose, clean very pure fruit on the palate and nice structure, the steely acidity having been softened by the malolactic ferment. Enjoy with poached halibut with lemon butter sauce, posh fish pie, roast chicken, pork fillet and mushrooms in a creamy sauce.
