Bodegas Ontañón is a 5th generation family-owned and run winery in Rioja Baja (now Rioja Oriental). The family's vineyards sit high in the Sierra Yerga mountains in the prestigious region surrounding Quel. Grapes are sourced from organically-cultivated Verdejo vines in the valley near the River Duero. Here high summer temperatures are alleviated by a fresh Atlantic breeze. Temperature-controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel.
Tierras del Isasa Organic Verdejo wine has wonderful aromas of tropical fruit and white flowers with a hint of fennel and citrus. The palate has ripe stone fruit, fresh acidity and a crisp finish. Enjoy with seafood, shellfish, white meats and summer salads.
