Blair Athol 12-Year-Old is a rich, spicy single malt whisky with a slightly dry finish and notable sherry notes, plus subtle minty herbal hints. It features a distinctive sweet aftertaste. Best served in a traditional whisky glass, neat or with a splash of water to highlight its sweetness. The whisky has a polished mahogany appearance and a medium to full body that isn’t cloying. Its nose offers muscat grapes, Madeira wine, a touch of brimstone and tar, with dried apricots and treacle toffee. The palate is rich and balanced, leading to a finish where a curious sweetness follows the initial acidity and dryness.
