The vines are around 35 years old and this particular cépage is made up of 30% Cabernet Franc and 70% Cabernet Sauvignon mainly grown on Schist. Ageing is in Concrete vat.

Chateau de Plaisance ‘Sur le Butte’ Rouge is bright red fruits with hints of earthiness and spice.
